The Role

Our client is a very well-respected, privately owned, wedding business that has a number of high-profile wedding venues across the UK. Due to continued growth in one of their flagship venues, they are now looking to appoint an experienced sales leader to oversee the day to day sales operations of the venue, whilst ensuring that the sales team are working towards the highest quality of customer satisfaction the company have become renowned for. 

The positon forms part of tthe SMT and will enjoy close working relationships with the Venue Director, and Chief Executive to which this position will report into. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a small team of Wedding Sales Specialists.
  • Being very organised with great sales systems experience.
  • Having a commercial focus to grow our wedding numbers & revenues.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to the Board.
  • Very hands-on and being prepared to lead by example.
  • Ensuring our sales contracts are continually reviewed and updated.
  • Regular review of pricing and sales strategies.
  • Provide training to the team.
  • Arranging internal and external wedding shows.
  • Delivering the social media marketing strategy.
  • Ensuring we stay No 1 for customer happiness and communication.
The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a Sales Manager at the moment for another, well-respected, wedding venue and would like the chance to work for a market leading business that oversees 150 weddings annually, or alternatively, you could be working within the hotel or wider hospitality sector within weddings, and would like the chance to advance your career. 

Candidates will need to be self-motivated, ambitious, and have the ability to lead a sales team to deliver events of the highest quality whilst balancing the commerciality of the wider business. You will possess strong communication and man-management skills, and will be a person capable of leading by example.
