Regional Director - Construction - Grounds Maintenance & Landscaping Contractor

Our client is a well-respected, rapidly expanding, commercial grounds maintenance and professional landscaping company that supports the construction and house building sector. 

Due to continued growth plans, our client is now looking to appoint an experienced Regional Director to assume full operational responsibility for the companies most established region. The role will oversee a number of Contracts Managers and site-based landscapers together with having full responsibility for all client key accounts and delivering each contract in line with the wider companies high standards. The role will form part of the SMT and will directly report into the owners of the company. 

Our client would be looking for somebody with a strong sense of career mobility, and would expect the successful candidate to be able to assume a much more senior Director level opportunity in the short to medium term. 

The ideal candidate will already be working for another well-respected national grounds maintenance company within an operations management capacity, or alternatively, could be already working for another regional landscaping contractor and would like the chance to be able to assume a much more senior operational position. 

In addition to this, candidates will have a strong and proven track-record of managing a number of operational staff, and will be effective man-managers with the ability to lead from the front to drive business performance. Furthermore, candidates will possess effective communication skills with the ability to be able to manage internal operational teams, as well as external key client relationships to help maximise commercial revenues. 

The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of regional operational landscaping/maintenance experience, with preferably a degree of similar industry qualification would be preferred.
