The Role

Our client is a privately owned car dealership group that operate a portfolio of dealerships across Northern Ireland. They are now looking to appoint an experienced executive to help continue the company’s ambitious growth plans, whilst overseeing the day-to-day operations of the wider business, reporting directly into the owners of the company.

The position will play a key role in helping to build on the company’s strong foundations of success and will help to identify new business opportunities across Northern and the Republic of Ireland to help expand business operations over the coming years, whilst simultaneously helping to oversee wider business operations in line with the company's growth objectives.

In addition to this the role will also play a key part in helping to continue to shape the company's strong customer service proposition, as well as developing a company that embraces technology to improve overall efficiencies together with dealership refurbishment programmes to improve the wider customer experience. 

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will already be working for another well-respected car dealership or automotive distributor at the moment, either within a director or senior operational capacity, or alternatively, candidates could be working across the wider retail sector and would see this as an opportunity for upward career mobility. 

In addition to this, candidates will possess strong multisite operational experience together with excellent man management leadership for over 70 members of staff. The ideal candidate will have sound commercial and financial management experience and will have worked in an environment where the customer and the community the business serves always comes first. Candidates will possess strong hands-on commercial leadership experience, with the ability to cultivate a strong commercial team to deliver and drive retail brands with the focus on the end-user.
