Our client, a leading recruitment company operating within the industrial and HGV transport sector, are now looking to appoint a dynamic General Manager to help grow the business.
The role will assume full P&L responsibility for the company, whilst managing a number of key sales and administrative staff to work at the highest levels of customer service. The role will form part of the company's senior management team, and will directly report into the Chief Executive of the wider group. The position will be extremely autonomous, and will provide the successful candidate with the chance to lead from the front and drive business performance.
Due to ambitious growth plans, our client would be looking for somebody with a high degree of mobility, and would expect the candidate to be able to move into a wider operational position in the medium to long-term, with the chance for potential equity.
The ideal candidate will already be working for another well-respected recruitment company, preferably within the field of transport and temporary HGV driver recruitment. Alternatively, candidates will also be considered if they work within the transportation and HGV sector, especially within a recruitment management capacity.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will have a proven track-record of working within a senior recruitment or Branch Management capacity, and will possess strong sales and leadership qualities. The ideal candidate will be extremely self-motivated, whilst having the ability to inspire confidence from their team. You will also have strong commercial acumen and strategic skills, with the ability to generate new business opportunities to support future growth.
Candidates will preferably be degree educated, although consideration will be given to candidates without a degree, but whose experience and tack-record speaks for itself.
