Our client are a leading European Medical Device consumables manufacturer which supplies the Medical and Scientific sectors. Due to continued growth plans, our client are now looking to appoint an experienced Director to oversee their UK subsidiary operation.
The role will form part of the senior management team, and will report directly into the European Board of Directors. The role will assume full P & L responsibility for the business which generates in excess of £20million Turnover, and will assume full management responsibility for the company who currently employs 60 members of staff.
Due to continued growth plans across the wider company, opportunuties will also present themselves for the successful candidate to gain valuable European operational exposure, and the chance to even work at corporate board level.
The ideal candidate will already be working for another well-respected medical device consumables manufacturer, either within a Regional or General Management capacity, and will have a proven track-record of helping a similar company to increase their market share, whilst maintaining strong customer relationships.
The ideal candidate will possess strong man management and leaderships skills, and will have held full P & L responsibility for a similar size of buisness or region previously. Candidates will have a good understanding of the medcial supplies and consumables sector, and will be extremely familiar with the types of companies operating within the medical diagnostics sector.
Candidates will possess effective communications skills with the ability to deal with a number of different stakeholders, whilst possessing strong commercial acumen.
