Head Chef - Consumer Goods & Services, Travel, Hospitality & Leisure

Our client, a leading award winning property and leisure company are looking to appoint an experienced Head Chef for their flagship Bar and Restaurant in Central London. Our client owns and operates a number of high-profile eclectic Bars and Restaurants across prime London central locations, and is further looking to grow their portfolio over the next few years. 

Due to the success of their flagship Bar & Restaurant in Central London, together with a recent capital expenditure refurbishment programme, our client are now looking to appoint an experienced, disciplined, and highly-talented Head Chef to take ownership of a very busy high-end bar and restaurant situated in the heart of Central London. The role will assume full operational responsibility for 12 members of staff, which will also include a Breakfast Chef and two Sous Chef's, preparing high quality brunch dishes for up to 200 covers per day. 

The role would offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work for one of the UKs leading Hospitality Pub & Restaurant Group's, who will be provided with the autonomy to make their own menu choices, together with helping the company to implement an evening bespoke menu offering to help compliment the restaurants sophisticated clientele. 

Our client would be ideally looking for somebody with a strong desire for career mobility, and due to ambitious growth plans, would expect the successful candidate to be able to move into a more senior multi-site Chef position in the short to medium term. 

The successful candidate will already be working within a senior Chef or Head Chef capacity at the moment, either demonstrated for another well-respected, Hospitality and Leisure company. 

Candidates will have significant brunch menu experience, preferably demonstrated within a busy pub or hotel environment, possessing strong leadership and mentoring skills, together with the ability to inspire confidence in those around them. Furthermore, candidates will have a proven track-record of creating high quality food, which can be produced in volume consistently. 

Our client would be looking for somebody who would be a hands-on Head Chef, with strong man management and leadership capabilities, who would like the opportunity to work for one of the UKs leading Pub & Restaurant Group's, and continue to grow their career with them into a multi-site, or even Executive Chef position.
