A small but rapidly expanding privately owned social care provider to the residential and elderly care sector, is now looking to appoint an Area Manager to oversee a number of services across the South West region.
The role will oversee a portfolio of residential services in terms of the day to day operational responsibilities, whilst supporting Registered Managers to delivery exceptional levels of care to their residents. The role will form part of the senior management team, and will report directly into the owner of the company.
Due to continue expansion plans, our client would be looking for somebody with a strong desire for career mobility, and would expect the successful candidate to assume a wider operational remit in the short to medium term, as the company look to further acquire additional services across the region.
The ideal candidate will already be working within a Area Management role or peripatetic role at the moment for another, well-respected, social care provider. Consideration will also be given to those candidates currently working within a Registered or General Management capacity within the residential elderly care sector, who maybe looking to advance their career into a wider operational role.
The successful candidate will have strong man management experience, and a proven track-record of improving levels of care must be evidenced. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
