Our client, a leading supplier of specialist flooring, is now looking to appoint an experienced Sales Director to help support the company's ambitious growth plans across the UK.
The role will involve identifying new business sales opportunities, whilst maintaining current business relationships to ensure that revenues are fully maximized. The role will form part of the senior management team, and will involve overseeing 10 members of staff within a customer services and regional sales capacity. The role will report directly into the Chief Executive of the wider holding company.
Due to ambitious growth plans, the successful candidate could expect to develop their career into a wider Sales Leadership role, and plans for future expansion could mean that the role could very easily involve overseeing multiple business interests in the short to medium term.
The ideal candidate will already be working in a General Management or Sales Leadership capacity at the moment, preferably demonstrated within a similar specialist flooring or building supplies industry.
The successful candidate will have strong man management experience, with previous experience demonstrated of increasing sales revenues within the FMCG sector, with particular experience demonstrated of selling a product or servivce into the building supplies sector. Candidates will also have solid online sales marketing experience, possessing effective communication and leadership qualities and will preferably be degree qualified.
