Our client are a well-respected, bespoke contractor, based in the North West of the UK. Due to continued growth plans, they are now looking to appoint a highly motivated construction professional to oversee the company’s current client base, whilst simultaneously ensuring that new business opportunities are proactively maximized.
The role will be expected to hold full budgetary and P & L accountability, managing a number of construction professionals, reporting into the Chairman of the company.
Due to ambitious growth plans and in part due to succession planning, they would expect that the successful candidate will have a strong desire for upward mobility, and would provide the post holder with a chance to secure a significant equity stake in the company in the short to medium-term.
The ideal candidate will already be working within a senior Construction or Commercial capacity, preferably undertaken for another well-respected contractor or construction consultancy.
The successful post holder will have strong man management and leadership skills, with the ability to deal with a number of key stakeholders involved in every stage of the construction life-cycle.
Candidates will have at least 10 years experience of working within a senior management capacity, and will hold a professional construction qualification and be ideally degree educated.
