Our client, one of the most well-respected regional law firms across the East Anglia region, are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate or Partner level solicitor, to work within the firms rapidly expanding Agriculture and Rural practice.
The role will involve working with the firms established key clients across the full landscape of Agriculture and Rural business, from established landed family estates, through to national charities with very significant rural land holdings. In addition to this, the role will also deal with a significant amount of transactional property work, including transactions involving unregistered land.
The role will offer the successful candidate the chance to work for one of the most rapidly expanding law firms across the region, working in the firms most dynamic business sector, where additional investment as been allocated to support further growth. As a result of this growth, our client would foresee the successful post holder advancing their career within the short to medium term, together with the opportunity to gain further exposure to some of the regions high-profile clients working within the Agriculture and Rural Business sector.
The successful candidate will already be working within an Associate Solicitor capacity at the moment within Agriculture and Rural business law, preferably undertaken for another, well-respected, National, or Regional Law firm.
Furthermore, due to the varied nature of the firms Agricultural law practice, our client would be looking to appoint somebody with the ability to deal with a range of transactional property work including transactions involving unregistered land, who are able to demonstrate an understanding and experience of the very particular approach to the clients in this business sector.
Given the complexity of the work, successful candidates are likely to have around 8 - 10 years PQE, although consideration will be given to those candidates with less experience.
The ability to delegate appropriately and to supervise, is essential. Business development activity at this level of appointee is a key part of the role.
