We are currently representing one of London's oldest, independently owned, hotel providers operating in the UK hospitality sector. They operate a portfolio of 3 star hotels across the city, offering clients competitive room rates, whilst benefiting from prime city centre location.
Our client are now looking to appoint an experienced Operational professional, to oversee one of their flagship central hotels, having full P & L accountability for the commercial revenue of the hotel, whilst simultaneously overseeing senior management to dive both commercial and quality performance KPIs. The role will form part of the Hotel Group's senior management team, and will report directly to the Board of Directors.
The role will also play a key part in improving the performance of hotels across the portfolio, and as such, our client would ideally be looking to appoint somebody with a strong desire for upward mobility, where the opportunity to oversee a number of hotels across the city would be a real possibility in the short to medium term.
The ideal candidate will already be working for another well-respected hotel provider at the moment, preferably within a senior General Management capacity, or Operational Management role.
Furthermore, candidates will have a proven track-record of overseeing the commercial performance of the hotel including managing all heads of department, change management, together with assuming full P & L responsibility. The successful post holder will have significant management and leadership qualities, and will be currently, or previously, overseeing a hotel with at least 1,000 beds within a single or multi-site capacity.
The ideal candidate will be extremely commercially astute, possessing strong communication and leadership skills, together with the ability to work strategically in order to maximize revenues.
