Business Development Director - Health & Social Care - Mental Health Services

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business development or commercial professional to join one of the UKs leading independently owned mental health providers across the North West region. The role will be responsible for helping to oversee a number of mental health services across the region to improve occupancy levels, whilst helping the company to gain a solid foundation with local commissioners and PCTs industry key contacts. The role will involve working with the senior board to help increase commercial visibility for the company moving forward, and will be instrumental in helping to drive revenues upwards in the short to medium term. The role will report directly to the Chief Executive, and offers the successful candidate an excellent level of remuneration, coupled with the opportunity to progress to a full board level appointment in the near future.

The ideal candidate will already be working at the moment for another well-respected mental health provider, either within the private of public sector. In addition to this, the successful candidate will have a proven track-record of helping to increase revenues for a similar mental health provider, preferably undertaken across the North, or North-West region. The successful post holder will have the ability to work as part of a team, reporting directly to the board of directors, whilst having the confidence to effectively deal with senior decision-makers from across the private and public mental health sector.
