Technical Manager - Industrial - Infrastructure, Building & Construction

Our client, a well-respected regional house builder is now looking to appoint an experienced, Technical Manager to help oversee and coordinate a busy technical department. The role will involve working with site managers and contract managers to ensure that all technical related queries such as; section 104, 106 agreements have been adhered to, whilst liasing with external consultants and engineers to ensure that technical drawings, and specifications have been correctly executed. The role will report directly to the Managing Director, which offers the candidate not only an excellent level of remuneration, but career advancement to move into a senior directorship role in the short to medium term.

The ideal candidate will already be working within the house building sector at the moment, either undertaken for another well-respected National or Regional house builder. In addition to this, candidates will have at least three years experience within a similar technical or engineering management role, with an understanding of section 104, 106 agreements, possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with experience of working with construction staff on site to address any technical issues. Candidates should ideally be engineering qualified, and have some experience of working with CAD technical design software.
