this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified Consultant level General Adult Psychiatrist to work for one of the UKs leading independent healthcare providers to the mental health sector. Our client have now an opening for a General Adult Psychiatrist to oversee a 30 bedded inpatient service which will cater for male patients within a locked rehabilitation setting. The role will involve providing an exceptional level of psychiatric input for a case load of 30 patients. Many of the patients will be detained under the mental health act, some of which will have a forensic mental health history. Due to the rapid expansion of our client in recent years, and also plans to build additional hospitals in the near future, offers the right candidate a tremendous opportunity to advance their career across a rapidly expanding mental health provider.

the ideal candidate will already be working as a Consultant level role within the field of General Adult Psychiatry at the moment, either undertaken for another private or public healthcare provider. In addition to this, candidates must have a good understanding of treating patients within an inpatient setting, preferably with an interest of patients who have a forensic mental health background. Candidates must hold their approved clinician status.
