Our client, an independent healthcare provider to the older people services sector is now looking to appoint an Operations manager to build on the company's excellent reputation within the Yorkshire region.
THE ROLE This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Area/regional manager to help further develop and grow this very well-respected independent provider operating within the older peoples services sector. The company have an established number of nursing homes within their portfolio and now want to grow their operations within the next 2 years. They want an experienced operations manager to help them identify new business opportunities within the Yorkshire region for potential acquisitions, whilst helping at the same time to improve service standards across their existing homes within their portfolio.
THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a number of nursing homes across a region, having the ability to manage and inspire others to work to the highest of healthcare standards. In addition to this, ideal candidates will have a good understanding of business issues associated with running a number of nursing homes, i.e. sound profit and loss experience, whilst having the ability to have strong business acumen to assess viable business opportunities for the future. Ideal candidates will have a strong clinical background also holding a relevant nursing qualification.
