Our client, a well-respected independent healthcare provider to the mental health sector is now looking to appoint a staff grade psychiatrist for the West Midlands region.
THE ROLE
this is an excellent opportunity to join one of the industry's leading independent healthcare providers to the mental health sector. Our client is now looking to appoint an experienced staff grade psychiatrist to work in a state of the art locked rehabilitation setting for male patients detained under the mental health act. The role will involve working closely with the lead consultant psychiatrist for the hospital to oversee a patient case load of 30 male patients, some of which have been detained under the mental health act. The role offers the candidate with an excellent opportunity to work for a financially stable private healthcare provider, offering an excellent level of remuneration and opportunity to advance your career to a consultant level within the short to medium term.
THE CANDIDATE
the ideal candidate will already be working within a staff grade psychiatry role at the moment for another well-respected healthcare provider to the mental health sector. In addition to this, candidates must have experience of working with patients within a secure mental health setting, having experience of working with MDT teams in order to help improve the quality patient care. Candidates who have worked with patients within the field of forensic rehabilitation would be preferred, although not essential.
