Our client, a leading independent healthcare provider to the social care and older people's sector, is now looking to appoint an experienced Operations Director to help oversee the performance of a number of nursing homes across the Midlands region.
THE ROLE
this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operational professional within the social care and older people's services sector. The role will involve working across the Midlands region to help oversee over 30 nursing homes and associated social care services in terms of operational performance. The role will involve supervising a number of senior managers in an attempt to help the region improve both its operational and clinical performance in accordance with the group's very high standards of care. The role offers the candidate an excellent level of autonomy and man management responsibility, reporting directly to the group's Managing Director.
In addition to this, excellent career advancement exists for the right candidate to move into a more senior or board level appointment in the near future as the company continue to grow and further develop their services throughout the UK.
THE CANDIDATE
the ideal candidate will be an experienced, proven Operations Director or Manager working within a similar capacity for another well-respected social care or older people's services provider. In addition to this, candidates must have a proven track record of helping to improve a region's performance both in terms of operational day to day occupancy, whilst ensuring that exceptional standards of care have been maintained across the services. Candidates must clearly have excellent man management and leadership skills, together with sound commercial and business acumen.
