SALARY
circa £70k Basic + Bens
Our client, a medium sized privately owned healthcare provider to the social and mental healthcare sector, is now looking to appoint an experienced Hospital Director for a newly opened facility based within the Herts region.
THE ROLE
this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hospital Director or Manager to oversee a newly opened care facility with a well-respected privately owned healthcare provider. The role will involve working with the senior management team to ensure that the facility meets all of the appropriate frameworks for clinical standards of care, building working relationships with PCTs and local commissioners to ensure that occupancy levels are achieved within a timely manner, whilst having full operational responsibility for budgets and clinical expenditure. The role offers the successful candidate an excellent level of remuneration, coupled with a fantastic career opportunity to advance their career across this ambitious private healthcare provider.
THE CANDIDATE
the ideal candidate will already be working within a senior Hospital Director or management capacity at the moment, either undertaken across the public or private sector. In addition to this, candidates should have experience of helping to set up a similar care facility from scratch, with a proven track record of helping to increase occupancy levels, and manage financial budgets. Furthermore, candidates should have a good understanding of dealing with patients from an LD forensic mental health background, possessing excellent commercial and business acumen. Clinical qualifications are not essential, but a sound business understanding of helping to set up a similar mental health service would be imperative.
